Your restaurant in our Hotel Hohe Tauern
In the east Tyrolean Küche you will find mainly dishes which can be prepared with few ingredients, but are still varied, tasty and healthy.
The local cuisine includes the popular home style cooking of Matrei in Eastern Tyrol: “cheese spaetzle” with browned butter and fried onions.
This speciality is served in a small iron frying pan on a so-called "Pfonnholz".
